There are approximately 140 juniors on our coaching scheme (beginners,intermediate & advance) which meet usually on Saturdays , Sundays and Mondays. Fully qualified Badminton England coaches are in charge of each session and each session will have a combination of coaching input and games play. Group coaching started at £4.95 per hour which is the lowest among most clubs in our area.

We are committed to helping every young person at our sessions improve and reach his/her full potential. We are also committed to instilling values of sportsmanship, good behaviour, fair play and respect for partners, opponents and officials. As well as running our own regular tournaments, we keep our players informed about suitable outside tournaments, and any other opportunities which will help them to progress and enjoy their sport.

Many of our Junior players use their badminton activity as part of their “Duke of Edinburgh” award. We actively encourage ex-members to stay in touch when they go to university, and visit whenever they are able.
