Categories and eligibility criteria: Doubles tournament

FCBC British Junior Badminton Tournament – 27th October 2024

The eligibility criteria:

Open to any community and age category is based not on the DATE of birth, but only on the YEAR of birth.

Under 10:

Birth year 2015 or later (those who were born on year 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. are eligible to enter under this category)

Under 12:

Birth year 2013 or later are eligible to enter under this category

Under 14:

Birth year 2011 or later are eligible to enter under this category

Under 16:

Birth year 2009 or later are eligible to enter under this category

Under 18:

Birth year 2007 or later are eligible to enter under this category

Any player is eligible to enter the higher age categories for example under 10 player can participate in the under 12/14/16/18 categories.

Player can choose to enter ONE type of category only- for example a player cannot enter under 10 and under 12.

2 - Played two or more matches for a county and /or *

3 - Received a grading by Badminton England. *

In order to run the tournament effectively and efficiently non - players are expected not to enter the halls during the matches. *

Your entry will only be accepted once payment is made and the entry form has been submitted. Payment should only be made strictly by bank transfer to club’s HSBC bank account *

FCBC reserves the right to reject any entry without being required to state the reason for doing so. In such cases the fee paid will be refunded.*

The decision of the referee on any disputes during the tournament shall be final. *
