Categories and eligibility criteria: Doubles tournament

FCBC British Junior Badminton Tournament – 22 nd October 2023

The eligibility criteria:

Open to any community and age category is based not on the DATE of birth, but only on the YEAR of birth.

Under 11:

Born on or after 2012 (those who were born on year 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 …. are eligible to enter under this category)

Under 13:

Born year 2010 or 2011 are eligible to enter under this category

Under 15:

Born year 2008 or 2009 are eligible to enter under this category

Under 17:

Born year 2006 or 2007 are eligible to enter under this category

Under 19:

Born year 2004 or 2005 are eligible to enter under this category

Special needs children category:

Any player is eligible to enter the higher age categories for example under 11 player can participate in the under 13 /15/17/19 categories.

Player can choose to enter ONE type of category only- for example a player cannot enter under 11 and under 13.
